“Vetech Software Solutions has been a natural part of Esbjerg Airport since 2006, when the airport had its landing lights replaced and Vetech delivered the software to control all runway lights, the airport’s first touch controlled system. A system that continues to operate with very high reliability.

Since then, both Vetech and the airport have grown and Vetech has developed countless systems that fit perfectly with the airport’s offshore customers and the airport infrastructure in general.

Among other things, software has been developed for checking passengers’ access authorization to security areas, software for producing ID cards with an interface to the airport’s access control system, control and monitoring of electronic equipment in the control tower, etc.

The latest delivery included brand new parking facilities for the airport’s two paid parking lots. In collaboration with Vetech’s suppliers, new hardware and software was delivered including 2 brand new payment terminals

The solution has given the airport more flexibility in the form of contactless customer cards, statistics, smartphone control of access gates and much more.

Most importantly, the operational stability requirement was met and today the airport has reduced maintenance costs for the facilities.
